Advantage, Coronavirus Title Sequence

The title sequence for the first episode of my short sports docu-series, Advantage, Coronavirus, was designed to visually represent how COVID overwhelmed sports. Created at the height of the pandemic and lockdown, I wanted the sequence to reflect the disruption the virus caused in the sporting world.

To achieve this, I downloaded shots from the four main sports featured in the documentary, setting them as overlays in the title sequence. The sequence uses dark colors and COVID-related visuals, with sports shots subtly surrounded by COVID particles, making them less prominent. This visual approach successfully conveyed the overwhelming effect of the pandemic on sports.

These title credits were later adapted for use in the second and final instalments of the Advantage, Coronavirus trilogy, ensuring consistent branding and thematic continuity throughout the series.
